Journalists, photography and filming at the airport
To carry out photography or filming — whether for media purposes or private projects — prior authorization is required. This applies even to shoots taking place in front of the terminal or in the departures and arrivals areas.
Access to secured zones such as the tarmac is subject to case‑by‑case approval, and authorizations are more limited due to their operational impact.
For any request, please submit an application to communication@gva.ch, indicating the date, time slot, number of people involved, and the purpose or subject of the shoot.
We kindly ask you to send your request at least 48 hours in advance so that we can inform the relevant security services, airport partners and airlines affected by the operation.
Airport operations are complex and carefully coordinated. Unscheduled visits are difficult to accommodate, and we appreciate your understanding.
